2021 ETCAsia Supporters' Evening

Video recordings of the event

On October 7, 2021, ETCAsia held its first Supporters’ Evening. Even though we had to hold the event on Zoom rather than in person, the evening was still a great encouragement to us all! We are so thankful that around 85 people from Singapore, Australia and the UK were able to attend the event. As we have so often said, our supporters are a vital part of our ministry at ETCAsia. Without you, the work of the college could not continue.

The evening commenced with the chairman of the ETCAsia board, Pastor Denesh Divyanathan thanking our supporters. He spoke passionately on the biblical distinctives of the College. Then our Principal Marty Foord spoke on the importance of theological education. Next, Pastor Denesh announced two very exciting new initiatives that will be launched in semester 1, 2022/23.

  • A one-year part time Certificate in Expository Gospel Ministry (CEGM) program*
  • An online MDiv program limited to students from Southeast Asian countries*

We then had the joy of finally meeting our OT lecturer Ben Thompson as well as meeting Elvira, one of our current students and Jun Bin, one of our Alumni. Finally, Wilson our general manager explained Vision 2024, the financing of theological education (current and future income streams and expenses) in ETCAsia, and the means by which churches as well as individual supporters can partner with us via the following channels:

Thank you for your prayers and partnership in the gospel. Your support is enabling godly men and women to be trained for gospel ministry in Singapore, Southeast Asia and beyond.
